Franklin Templeton bolsters Australian leadership team with new Head of Product and Strategy

February 8, 2023: Franklin Templeton, a global investment management firm, has announced the appointment of Benjamin Abell as Head of Product and Strategy for the Australian region.

Mr. Abell will join the Australian leadership team and play a critical role in the growth of the Australian business. He will oversee the overall Franklin Templeton investment product strategy, with oversight across the current investment range as well as determining gaps in the market to bring new funds and capabilities to Australian investors.

Mr. Abell joins Franklin Templeton after 15 years with Colonial First State where he held senior roles across product and distribution, most recently as Executive Director of Superannuation and Strategy.
