Andrew Canobi, CFA

Andrew Canobi is the director of Australia Fixed Income for Franklin Templeton Fixed Income in Melbourne, Australia. Mr. Canobi is responsible for managing fixed income portfolios including macro strategy formulation, credit research, and portfolio construction.

Mr. Canobi has over 26 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to his current role, Mr. Canobi was a director and portfolio manager for Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management. He also was previously with Invesco and ABN AMRO. Mr. Canobi joined Franklin Templeton in 2014 as the director of Australia Fixed Income.

Mr. Canobi holds a bachelor of arts from the University of Melbourne, a graduate degree in commerce and industrial relations from the University of Melbourne School of Business, and a graduate degree in applied finance and investment from the Securities Institute of Australia. He is a member of Melbourne Society of Financial Analysts, and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
