Jeffrey Schulze, CFA

Jeffrey is the Head of Economic and Market Strategy at ClearBridge Investments, responsible for overseeing capital market and economic research and contributing thought leadership on these topics to the institutional investor and financial advisor communities. He is the architect of the firm's Anatomy of a Recession (AOR) program, which features a dashboard of 12 indicators tracking shifts in the U.S. economy that could signal increased recession risk.

Jeffrey joined the firm in 2014 and the investment industry in 2005.

Jeffrey joined the firm as a Senior Portfolio Specialist, was named an Investment Strategist in 2017 and became Head of Economic and Market Strategy in 2023. Prior to joining ClearBridge, he was a Portfolio Specialist at Lord Abbett.

Jeffrey received a B.S. in finance from Rutgers University and is a CFA® charterholder.
